A few decades ago only the big names from the Hollywood could afford to have an artist agency, trying to get them new and better contracts; however, as the time passed, the agent costs dropped continuously and more and more artists start affording to have an agent to protect their interests. But unfortunately, despite the fact that artist agencies fees are nowadays far away of what they used to be a few years ago, there are still many young and promising artists that can’t afford them so they have to struggle to get an audition or a contract by themselves.
