Talent Watchers news:
American Idol auditions are being held online via MySpace.
This new opportunity to get on the hit FOX show is ending soon -- as in three days, 19 hours, 43 minutes and 48 seconds as of this writing.Talent watchers advice you to stay away from scam websites posting those auditions.
Another bit of news: This opportunity is open to anyone ages 15 to 28 (yes, 15 -- a lower age than ever before for AI wannabes).
For those who are ready, willing and can sing but couldn't get to the auditions in person, simply go to the MySpace page where Ryan has taped instructions on what to do to compete the process through cyberspace.
And if you do listen to Seacrest and do what the American Idol host says to do, who knows?
Even if you don't get picked for Idol, you could be the next Justin Bieber or Greyson Chance since other good musical things can happen. As part of the process, everyone who goes to this site will be able to see and suss the contenders (which, of course, includes you!).
So, for those not so sure of the spotlight: This cool, brand new idea is great for shy people who still want to try and be on TV when American Idol begins again for the 10th season in January.
Yes, that sounds like an oxymoron, but it shouldn't be because even those who are not quite as stage friendly as, say, an Adam Lambert (love him!) can still make a statement. They can also possibly find a way to come out of their shell and onto the stage by trying out in this new fashion for the popular reality show.
Now don't think about this too long because American Idol auditions online are ending soon, on October 6. So go to the MySpace audition space. Now.
Thoughts on this new auditioning process for AI? Thanks!
